2014
The deluxe Super Turtle is introduced at the ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailers Association) convention in Phoenix.
2013
By popular demand, our new MAGENTA Flying Turtle is offered to the delight of little girls everywhere.
2012
Internationally-acclaimed artist, Ann Winder-Boyle, captures the carefree fun of riding a Flying Turtle in her unique work of art. She is a mixed media artist whose works have been selected by London’s Royal Academy for five years.
2011
Mason Corporation adds a new product division – Mason Shade – which designs, builds and installs custom shade structures.
2010
The Roller Racer® appears on the front page of USA Today.
2009
Mason Scooters circle the globe from our worldwide distributors in England, South Africa, Japan, Russia, Iceland, Dubai, Israel and more.

2008
Introduce eco-friendly powder coating process for Mason Scooter handlebars and utilize recycled plastic material for seats. Conduct safety testing on all products to comply with new standards of CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008)
2007
With massive recalls of imported toys, we form a coalition of US toy manufacturers and reaffirm our commitment to manufacture products MADE IN THE USA.
2006
City of St. Petersburg, Florida purchases ten Mason Water Slides for its metropolitan area.
2005
Dr. Toy awards the Flying Turtle® with “Best Classic Toy”.
2004
IAAPA – International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions – appoints Dick Mason to various committees as a representative for US manufacturers.
2003
The Flying Turtle® wins the Oppenheimer Gold Award.
2002
Parents Magazine chooses the Flying Turtle® as one of their “Best Toys of the Year”, calling it “one of 75 toys that parents can feel good about buying and kids will feel great about getting.”
2001
Mason Corporation constructs a new office building in Brentwood, Tennessee.
2000
The Flying Turtle® wins Parents Choice Award and Top Toy Award. Hearthsong Catalog gives Award of Excellence for “Consistent Product Quality”. The scooter is now made in purple and teal.

1999
Offer commercial quality roller skates and ice skates to municipal and church recreation programs.
1998
Install Mason Water Slides in camps, YMCA’s, municipalities, military bases and country clubs in 35 states.
1997
Build a Roller Playce® that incorporates a Skating Area into the Playground at Skate Heaven in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
1996
Re-Introduce the Flying Turtle® to toy stores with a green seat. Our Mason Scooters division now manufactures the Roller Racer® for amusement park and schools, the Flying Turtle® for toy stores, and the Exer-Rider® for special needs markets.
1995
Install first Mason Water Slide at the YMCA in Franklin Tennessee. It is still in operation.
We welcome our fourth child to the team
1994
Expand installations of the Roller Playce® at Family Fun Centers such as Chuck E. Cheese and Discovery Zone.
1993
Introduce the Roller Playce®, a play unit that combines a Roller Racer® track with a soft Mason Play Unit. Install our first one at the new Play Station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, It is still in operation almost 20 years later.
1992
Erect our Roller Maze Kiddie Rides at Opryland in Nashville, TN, Fiesta Texas in San Antonio (1992 – 1997 in Rennsporplatz) and at Dutch Wonderland in PA .
1991
Construct our first Pipe-n-Foam structure called the Roller Maze. It features a scooter track with maze design for Roller Racers® in River Falls Mall, Clarksville IN.
1990
Our business and family are growing. We welcome a third Roller Racer® rider onto our team.
1988
Mason Corporation moves from Nashville to Brentwood, TN on Crossroads Blvd.
1987
Dick and Jules Mason incorporate and open the doors of Mason Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee .
1986
Roller Racer® commercial is #1 on Nickelodeon and asks the unanswerable question…”How’s It Go?”
A second Roller Racer rider is born.
1985
Introduce the Roller Racer® portable Trailer Ride to the Carnival market.
1984
Invent the Exer-Rider® adapted scooter for Special Needs market with the help of Physical Therapist, Beverly Richardson – Illinois Teacher of the Year.
Fall 1983
Launch production of the Roller Racer® scooter for amusement parks and schools.
IAAPA, the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions, awards the Roller Racer® “Best New Kiddie Ride” at its annual trade show.
May 1983
Dick and Jules Mason, with baby son, showcase the Flying Turtle® at trade shows around the country. The Flying Turtle® is brown.
September 1982
Dick Mason introduces the Flying Turtle® and Wheel Washer to the Roller Skating industry at their annual trade show in Florida.
